Our post about a Denver man who says he was charged an extra $100 by a Kansas hotel because he was suspected (incorrectly) of smoking marijuana in his room just because he’s from Colorado got our readers talking. Among the topics was alleged pot profiling of cars with Colorado plates. Here’s one person’s story.

Kansas State Police profile BIG TIME! i got pulled over and searched 3 times while driving across their miserable state last year….the first time i was polite, the other two i sported a HUGE attitude…. officer: do you know why we pulled you over? me: yeah because i’m a single white guy with colorado plates and you are violating my civil rights by profiling me as a marijuana transporter…..
