Our Josiah Hesse recently ventured to Civic Center Park to see if recreational marijuana store openings had cut down on illegal sales — and discovered that the pot black market is alive and well. This came as no surprise to many of our commenters, including this medical marijuana card holder.

Happy to be a red card holder and not have to be raped by the Insane tax on it! Wow! Maybe if they taxed alcohol like marijuana, [there would be] less violence and alcohol related crashes!
