When we shared yesterday’s post about the Colorado Muslim Society’s disassociation from a founder’s offer to pay for the burial of Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev, we asked if it mattered to readers where the body winds up. This question prompted some interesting and strongly expressed answers, including this one.
Julie L. Calkins Williams writes:
Doesn’t matter to me and I don’t know why it is such of an issue. What he did (yes I believe his is guilty) was horrible, but there are a lot of horrible serial killers etc who have killed and damaged many lives and nobody seems to care where their bodies are. If he was alive and they wanted to release him I would have a problem where he was released, but it’s just a damn body!!!!
