This morning, we published a blog asking the musical question, “Clint Hurdle: How Many Times Has He Not Been Fired?” Don’t have to ask that anymore: Believe it or don’t, the Rockies pulled the trigger a few hours later. Bench coach Jim Tracy will serve as interim manager — and it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world if he sticks around in that position for a while. After all, what big name field general in his right mind would take on a project as thankless as the Rockies right now?
